Sebastian Vettel admitted he was surprised by his advantage in qualifying at Monza, the Red Bull driver conceding he never expected to grab pole by such a margin. The championship leader, whose Red Bull team has never been too strong at Monza, secured his 10th pole position of the year to keep the squad's perfect record of top spots this season. Vettel finished nearly half a second ahead of McLaren's Lewis Hamilton, second today, and admitted he never expected to be so far ahead.

A 3-Series Wagon For The Non-Wagon Buyer



Despite enchanting few critics along the way, the all-new 2011 BMW X3 has been helping its German parent clean up on the sales charts.

Like the rest of the premium crossover segment, the X3 has been viewed by some brand diehards as a blatant cash-grab. The starting price might be easy enough to swallow, but start ticking the option boxes and the sticker swells to a size more startling than the first time you heard your mother drop an F-bomb. Despite this, we wanted to see if the 2011 BMW X3 xDrive28i could break through the enthusiast's wall of prejudice. As you'd expect, it's a mixed bag.

Simon Pagenaud kept Peugeot on top in Silverstone practice with a phenomenal effort that left him more than 1.5s clear of the field. The Frenchman, deputising for the injured Anthony Davidson, traded fastest laps with Audi's Allan McNish in the early stages of practice, but at the half-way mark found more than three seconds as he blazed to a 1m44.945s. Week Five, Season Three of the iRacing V8 Supercar Series by Bigpond Sport took the circus to the relatively flat Silverstone International layout. Rens Broekman has proven to be a worthy signing for the Nfinity Esports team. He helped out the team by snaring pole, and helped out the commentators by sporting a new, less green livery to help tell the Nfinity cars apart. Splitting those two Nfinity cars was Madison Down, enjoying a return to (his usual) form. Mitchell McLeod was next from Mick Claridge and Simon Madden. Lewis Dodimead was sixth, finding even more speed since his return to the top split.
