Action Express leads in Daytona fog

The best of the Action Express Racing Riley-Porsches headed the six cars on the lead lap at two-thirds distance in the 49th running of the Daytona 24 Hours. The #5 Action Express entry, driven by David Donohue, Darren Law, Buddy Rice and Burt Frisselle, held a narrow lead at the head of the queue behind the safety car after 16 hours. The race had been neutralised for nearly three hours because of heavy fog
