Howard gets extra IndyCar race

Jay Howard will get an additional IndyCar outing with Sam Schmidt Motorsports and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing at Texas next weekend. The Briton drove for the Schmidt/Rahal partnership at Indianapolis, where a strong month was ended by a crash in the pit exit when a wheel came loose following a tyre change.
